Do you love music? Do you constantly catch yourself listening to and talking about it? Have you dreamed of writing about it?

 

If you answered yes to the above questions, then we’re looking for you!

 

We’re currently looking for people who want to become guest contributors for Crank It.

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

Simple. You’ll be writing articles, lists, and reviews about your favorite singers: their latest songs, CD, videos, concerts, appearances, news, and more!
 

Our goal is to become the biggest website devoted to music on the Internet, and we need YOU to get there!

 

Are you interested in writing and becoming one of our top contributors?  If so, enter your contact information in the form below along with a sample of something you’ve written (i.e. a link to an article you wrote, etc.). We’re looking for those of you who are good at writing, and editing your own work.

Musician Submissions:

Send us a press release or short video showcasing how you're CRANKIN' IT  and we might feature it on CRANK IT!  Make sure you mention "CRANK IT " in the video & end the video with "I'M _______ & I'M CRANKIN IT "

Contributor/Writer Submission Guidelines:

All work must be original! All work must be unpublished!

CRANK IT will only take a select amount of editorials for each issue.

Please submit:

 

8 to 12 low-res images with all credits of everyone involved in the shoot. Please do not leave out any information when submitting. Images should be attached DIRECTLY in the submission e-mail without any font or text on the images.

 

When you submit to CRANK IT, you acknowledge that editors have the right to place the story in any sequence that works for the magazine. The images may be edited, cropped or changes to suite the vision of the editor/magazine. The magazine will add the text and credits to the image.  

 

Due to the high volume of emails we may not be able to reply to everyone. If there is an interest for the story to be published we will contact you and ask you for the high-res images. You must send the high-res images by the deadline via dropbox or other sending website.

 

Your email MUST include the following:

1. The title of your story (this may be changed by the editor)

2. all credits, photographer, stylist, hair, makeup, and any other credits that may apply. If you do not send the credits the images may be published with only the photographers name credited.
