Malachi Gagnon Gives Listeners A "Reason To Live" In New Single

Young talent and seventeen-year-old songbird Malachi Gagnon has done it again. In his most heartfelt song to date, “Reason To Live,”  available September 20, the vocalist gets serious about mental health.

New Hampshire-native Malachi Gagnon is wise beyond his years, turning his virality into a career at only age 17. His newest project, “Reason To Live”, written completely on his own, follows other popular songs like “Think About Me,” released in May 2024, and “No Thanks To You,” which dropped last year.

“Reason To Live” is an incredibly personal story. Written following the suicide of a close friend, Gagnon takes up his pen once more to give his listeners some much needed solace. The song was “written as a letter to my friend Ethan, saying the words that I wish I could’ve said, had I known what he was dealing with,” says Malachi, wanting to provide a shoulder to fans who are struggling.
