BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez Finally Reveal the Sweet Title of Upcoming Collaboration

After much teasing, BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez have finally revealed the name of the upcoming collaboration fans have been calling “Selpink” while they wait: “Ice Cream.” Gomez tweeted a picture of herself snacking on an ice cream cone to announce it, writing: “SELPINK IN YOUR AREA soon...” BLACKPINK posted a simple graphic of a dripping pink ice cream cone, paired only with hashtags. About an hour later, they announced the release of the “Ice Cream” merchandise. The collaboration is highly anticipated by both artists’ fanbases - BLACKPINK announced the collaboration last month and revealed that their featured artist was Gomez a few weeks following. Fans were excited to find out along with the title reveal that artist Ariana Grande is listed in the writer’s credits, as well. “Ice Cream” is set for release on August 28th, and will follow Gomez’s most recent collaboration remix with Trevor Daniel and Lil Mosey, “Past Life.” It will be the second single from BLACKPINK’s upcoming album, Blackpink: The Album , following their first release of “How You Like That.” Before the release of their album, the group will be featured on Dua Lipa’s upcoming project with The Blessed Madonna, Club Future Nostalgia remix album on the collaboration track “Kiss and Make Up.”
